Atletico Madrid need to balance their books this coming season after over €110 million spent on incoming transfers and Corriere dello Sport understand that the Spaniards are willing to sell Inter target Sime Vrsaljko to help them improve their balance sheet.

Financial Fair Play is not to be messed with and Atletico understand this and have asked interested clubs for €25 million to negotiate with Vrsaljko and seem only interested in dealing with a permanent transfer. The agent of the Croatian international, Giuseppe Riso, believes Italy would be the best move for his client. Napoli and Roma are both interested but at this moment, Inter is the most liked club.

While Atleti want €25 million, Inter values Vrsaljko at just over €10 million. The Colchoneros will most likely reject this offer and any offer that involves a loan without an obligation to buy.

The Rome based newspaper however goes on to state, if Inter were to include a player in the deal then Atletico might be willing to work with this formula.
