The deal that will see Nico Gonzalez join Inter, done in synergy with fellow Serie A side Cagliari, could be completed next week according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The transfer is practically all done and will see the Argentine starlet join the Nerazzurri before being loaned out to Cagliari right away for a season or perhaps two to help him acclimatise to the Italian game.
Gonzalez’s move has been in the making for a number of weeks and in the past few days he has revealed it is one of his childhood dreams to be playing in Europe and for Inter also.
“It is one of my childhood dreams to play in a top league in Europe, and Inter is another dream in itself. I get goosebumps when I imagine myself wearing the Inter shirt,” the 20-year-old striker revealed in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb earlier this week.
