Inter have received a ‘yes’ from Sime Vrsaljko with regard to a move to the club but must still find an agreement with Atletico Madrid according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Inter met with the Croatian full back’s agent Giuseppe Riso on Friday where Riso confirmed his client was keen on a transfer to San Siro.

Atletico Madrid are understood to want €25 million for the 26-year-old but Inter are working on the basis of loan with right to redemption and are hopeful that the Spaniards will accommodate this transfer formula. Moreover, the Rome based newspaper report that Inter want to spend no more than €20 million on Vrsaljko, who has been with the Spanish capital club for two years following a transfer from Sassuolo.

Last season Vrsaljko made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Colchoneros and provided five assists. Vrsaljko is in Croatia’s squad for the World Cup where he has started each of their five games and played a key role in helping them reach the semi-final stage.
