Alessandro Florenzi’s agent Alessandro Lucci will meet with Roma sporting director Monchi to hear the Giallorossi’s latest contract renewal proposal according to a report from Rai Sport.

Florenzi has just a year left on his contract at the Stadio Olimpico and has drawn interest from Inter as a result. Roma’s most recent proposal consisted of an annual salary of €2.7 million but other reports doing the rounds in the media have suggested Inter have offered him a €4 million per year salary.

Inter have identified Florenzi as one of their top targets to shore up the right back department and could take advantage of the situation if Florenzi continues to knock back proposals from Roma. In six months time any interested club can approach the Italian international and have him sign a pre-contract agreement that would result in Roma receiving absolutely nothing for the 27-year-old and this may force Roma in to making a sale later in the transfer window to avoid this scenario.
