It has reached the stage where Roma have offered an ultimatum to Alessandro Florenzi to sign a contract renewal, at least according to a report from La Repubblica.

Roma have offered Florenzi a €2.5 million seemingly take it or leave it extension and if the Italian international refuses the offer, Roma will allow him to leave the club this transfer window for a fee of €25 million.

Florenzi has drawn interest from Inter in recent weeks with the Nerazzurri looking to upgrade in the right back department and La Repubblica go on to state that his agent Alessandro Lucci has spoken with Inter today and it is evident that Inter are willing to meet the Giallorossi’s aforementioned demands for the 27-year-old if it comes to it.

Florenzi and Roma have been in talks for a few weeks now but the fact other clubs including Inter are willing to offer more than Roma per season for Florenzi is likely to prove detrimental to the capital club’s hopes of re-signing him.
