Former Liverpool and Croatian international midfielder Igor Biscan believes his compatriot Inter’s Ivan Perisic has what it takes to be capable to play in the Premier League.
“Ivan has enough quality to be able to play for Manchester United and I think it would not take too long for him to adapt to the English league,” Biscan said in an interview with BetStars.
Biscan, who was part of Liverpool’s Champions League winning side in 2004/05, proceeded to speak more about what kind of player Perisic is.
“He is very direct, very strong and can score with both feet and if José Mourinho wants to buy a player, he often talks about him.”
The Croatian winger, who is going in to his fourth year with the Nerazzurri, drew very strong interest from the Red Devils last summer but it is as yet unclear as to whether they will resume their interest in the 29-year-old this summer.
