Massimo Moratti: “Inter Have Done Everything Right”

Massimo Moratti weighed in on Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus rumours and distanced the moves similarity to when Inter signed Ronaldo.

“I would have preferred him to go Inter, but it is a clever idea and for that I must I congratulate Juve. I do not see similarity between this operation and the one we did when we brought Ronaldo to Inter but certainly Juventus is a great force,” the former Inter owner said on the sidelines of the Milano CalcioCity event.

Moratti proceeded to speak on Inter’s transfer window so far and the signing of Lautaro Martinez in particular.

“They have done very well during this transfer window, they have done everything right to do well. I think this year when you look at them in the Champions League they will find difficulties but it is a great team nevertheless and I think that they can do well. I am very curious about the signing of Lautaro Martinez, as a fan I can not wait to see him on the field.”
