Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has given an about Inter attacker Eder’s future amid reports he is set for a transfer to Jiangsu Suning.

“During yesterday’s practice at Appiano Gentile, Eder was absent, officially as a precaution. From what? Well, of course the reason is that the ex-Sampdoria striker is very close to sign a deal with Chinese side Jiangsu Suning, also owned by the Zhang family.”

According to the Milan newspaper, “The player is now convinced of accepting the two-year contract that would give him €13 million net and €5 million to Inter. At this point the only problem is time, since the Chinese market closes at midnight tomorrow, but Inter who worked the June market at warp speed, does not seem too worried about that.”

Gazzetta have also went on to report on the latest situation with regard to Inter’s pursuit of Mousa Dembele. The Belgian midfielder, currently with Tottenham, continues to have admirers in China, but will only accept a really serious offer. Otherwise Inter seems to be the most welcome option but at that point Ausilio needs to convince Tottenham.
