Alfred Duncan is the latest player to have been identified by Fiorentina’s management as a possible summer transfer window reinforcement for the midfield according to a report from Corriere Fiorentino.

The Ghanaian is one of a number of names to have been shortlisted as La Viola look to improve their squad ahead of the coming season. West Ham’s Pedro Obiang, formerly of Sampdoria, Norwegian starlet Sander Berge of Genk, Sporting Lisbon’s Rodrigo Battaglia and Torino’s Tomas Rincon are all also understood to be on the growing shortlist of names.

Duncan has however attracted interest from elsewhere including from none other than former club Inter, who as per some reports are on the verge of finalising a deal to bring him back to San Siro. The 25-year-old is a youth academy graduate of the Nerazzurri and has been identified as a possible addition by Inter management to add more depth to the midfield.
