With the change in management at Chelsea that has seen Antonio ConteNapoli’s midfielder, British tabloid The Daily Star reports that Davide Zappacosta could be on his way back to Italy for about £20 million.

The former Torino fullback is of interest to Napoli and could be part of a deal that will see Jorginho go the other way. He also been approached by Inter as an alternative for Sime Vrsaljko, but only if that deal were to fall through.

Inter are relatively short in their fullback department so they have been very interested in the two fullbacks. Currently available to manager Luciano Spalletti are Danilo D’Amborio, Kwandwo Asamoah and Dalbert. Although D’Ambrosio is capable of covering both the flanks, depth is required if one of the others goes down with an injury and even more so given Inter will be competing across three fronts this term. Vrsaljko remains in pole position, but Zappacosta will certainly not be ruled out in any case.
