According to the latest reports from Premium Sport, agent Alessandro Lucci will be in London in the coming days to speak to Chelsea about an exchange involving two of his clients: Matias Vecino and Davide Zappacosta.

Although Sime Vrsaljko remains Inter’s number one priority for the right back position, the club are monitoring Zappacosta as a back-up if the negotiations with Atletico Madrid continue to stall. Los Colchoneros appear willing to loan the Croatian with an obligation to purchase, while Inter are insisting on an expensive loan with an option to buy.

The Italian international moved to Chelsea last season, but failed to convince in England and his position may be under threat after the departure of Antonio Conte. The idea of swapping Vecino is also related to the coaching change, as it appears a foregone conclusion that Maurizio Sarri will take over at the London club. Sarri is a fan of the Uruguayan midfielder, the two having previously worked together at Empoli.
