After having watched his side defeat Lugano 3-0 in the first pre-season friendly fixture of the season, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts regarding the win and the new signings performances.

The Inter coach began by analyzing the opposition saying that: “Lugano have scruffy traits, they get on you strongly with real contrasts. This was an important test. I expected the team to struggle more because our players muscles are aching right now. We have to look after them and not create problems to develop disturbing our preparations. Today was a real test, and it ended well we scored beautiful goals and moved the ball well.”

Spalletti was then asked about the impact the new signings made stating that: “They all did well. Lautaro demonstrated immediately his physical strength in receiving the ball in front of goal. Asamoah has experience and  masters his role, De Vrij played well even playing in a four-man defence and Nainggolan did what he had to do.”
