Any doubt that Inter winger Ivan Perisic could possibly miss out on playing in this years World Cup final due to a leg injury has been cleared SportMediaset report.

The Croatian international, who was voted man of the match for his opening goal and assist on the winning goal, played the full 120 minutes as Croatia saw off England 2-1 and the 29-year-old was seen holding his leg with some discomfort post-match which led many to believe he could possibly miss out on the showpiece occasion on Sunday.

Perisic, who has been on Inter’s books since 2015 when he joined from Wolfsburg, has been very much involved in Croatia’s attack this summer in Russia and will be hoping to beat France in the final alongside current Inter teammate, Marcelo Brozovic and ex-Inter midfielder, Mateo Kovacic. Perisic has featured in all six of Croatia’s games at the tournament thus far, scoring twice and assisting once along the way.
