Inter new boy Matteo Politano has given his opinion on how the first week of pre-season training has went.
“The first few days are going really well. The coach is working us hard but that is how it should be in pre-season. Spalletti likes us to work a lot with the ball and we’re already trying out tactics,” the winger said in an interview with Inter TV.
The 24-year-old, who has joined on a loan with right to redemption basis, proceeded to speak on the welcome he has received and his fitness.
“I’ve been given a warm welcome and I am delighted with my start at the club. I now really want to get out there and play. The fans have shown me great affection and I can’t wait to rejoice together with them. Being stocky means that I can regain my fitness quickly during pre-season and I now can’t want to start. I’m still impressed by the club’s structures and the way in which the coach and my new teammates are working.”
