Inter’s Belgian youngster Xian Emmers stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts on the pre-season friendly match win against Lugano, the team named after the city where the player was born.

Emmers began by analyzing the match as well as his own performance stating that: “It is the first match and it went well as we won 3-0. The most important thing is to get into the rhythm ahead of the upcoming matches.”

The player who has been part of Inter’s Primavera side since 2015 was asked about how he felt about playing in the deeplying central midfield position in front of the back 4 to which he replied: “I struggled a bit in the beginning but then it went much better. I will do whatever the coach asks me to do.”

In conclusion Emmers was asked if he felt anything special playing in the city where he was born to which he replied: “I was born here, it is a beautiful city. I only want to play football, it is not important where I was born.”
