Inter’s French winger Yann Karamoh came on for Lautaro Martinez at half time in Inter’s pre-season friendly fixture win against Lugano and made the best possible impact scoring twice in the 3-0 victory.

After the match he stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts on the match and his own performance: “I am happy for myself and the team, it is important to continue like this, to keep on winning. It is important for us and the team as a whole. The team is doing really well, we are training well and that is important. We hope that the season continues like this with many goals.”

The former Caen player was then asked about the number 7 jersey he has been given saying that: “I like the number 7 jersey, I wanted it. I asked Ausilio if I could have it when I arrived last year. I am happy.”

In conclusion Karamoh was asked if he prefers playing as a winger or in the striker role he played tonight against Lugano: “The most important thing is to play. Returning to the Champions League is important for everyone, for us and for the club given the club’s history.”
