Former Inter coach Luigi Simoni shared his thoughts regarding the new Inter with Italian media outlet FcInter1908.it.

Simoni was invited to an Inter event but was unable to attend so instead he sent a note attached to his RSVP where he stated that: “Dear Inter fans and in particular the fans in the Curva Nord. I want to thank you for the received invitation to appear at your party but I am unable to attend because I am away on holiday. I want to let you know that I appreciated invitation a lot. Maybe we will be able to see each other in the future.

This year, to use a phrase used by Inter, ‘We have returned to looking at the stars’, we could see them in a Champions League match maybe between Inter and Real Madrid, who all of us remember fondly due to the amazing braze by Roberto Baggio which led us to win the group.

Dear regards,

Giggi Simone.”
