Emiliana based website OglioPoNews reports today that Inter’s young defender Alessandro Bastoni is the subject of some transfer dealings with Parma thought to be closing in on a deal for the 19 year old.

Parma are currently involved in judicial proceedings regarding an incident involving the striker Emanuele Calaio’ and alleged attempt to fix a match at the end of the club’s Serie B campaign last season. It is reported that newly promoted Parma have overtaken Sampdoria in the race to sign the young prospect and that a deal could be agreed shorty.

It is thought that Bastoni will join Parma on a season long loan in a similar deal to the one of Zinho Vanhuesden last season, which broke down eventually after he sustained a serious injury. Bastoni spent last season on loan at Atalanta and returns to Inter this summer after the Milan based club signed him from Atalanta last summer.
