Inter could sell full-back Dalbert to Monaco as part of their deal to bring Keita Balde back to Italy, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Dalbert joined the Nerazzurri from Nice twelve months ago in a deal worth up to €26m but endured a disappointing first season in Serie A, making just 13 appearances and five starts under Luciano Spalletti.

Inter rejected an approach from the Ligue 1 outfit earlier in the summer after they registered an interest in bringing the Brazilian back to France, but the Rome-based publication believes the club could now review their position as they continue talks for Keita.

“Inter could look to set up a swap deal,” they wrote on Tuesday, “either on a loan basis or even a permanent basis, were the two clubs to reach an agreement on the valuation of both players.

“Keita could have signed for Inter twelve months ago, but it looks as if he is still willing to do so now. Were he to arrive Spalletti would have an extra option in the no. 10 position as well as a potential ‘false nine’ should it be necessary.”
