One of the last events of today before the end of the mercato will be the transfer of Pinamonti from Inter to Frosinone. Interviewed by Sky Sports, their Sporting Director Ciociara Capozucca talked about their most recent purchases:

“We have changed a lot, I can not even say how many players we have taken anymore. We had to change, it is one of the most difficult championships ever, we have to do our best to stay in the league. We have done things according to our possibilities, we must thank President Stirpe. We did not expect to sign Cassata and Pinamonti this morning, but we have them now.”

Frosinone were promoted from Serie B after finishing third last year and they are keen to remain in Serie A and have made a statement with signings such as Joel Campbell from Arsenal, Marco Sportiello from Atalanta and now Andrea Pinamonti from Inter. It remains to be seen how Moreno Longo’s squad will manage with the step up to Serie A.
