Inter had a scout present during last night’s UEFA Nations League tie between France and the Netherlands at the Stade de France in which the World Champions ran out 2-1 winners.

According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Inter’s man in the stands was there to watch one player in particular in Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

The youngster is a product of Ajax’s famed youth academy that has gifted the footballing world with some great great players and it is understood that he is valued at upwards of €50 million by the Amsterdam based giants.

Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio is on the look out for a top quality midfielder and while the 21-year-old might not be there yet, he is well on his way to being so. Inter are not alone in being interested in the young Dutchman either if reports are to be believed. According to other reports Barcelona are among other interested clubs for him.
