Inter have their sights set on two Mexicans Turin based newspaper Tuttosport reports in today’s newspaper edition fo the paper. According to the report the two are Hector Herrera, a midfielder currently with Porto, and Hirving Lozano, a winger at PSV Eindhoven, who both could end up at the Nerazzurri as Tuttosport is convinced that Piero Ausilio is working hard to make this a reality.

“Lozano moved to PSV in the summer of 2017, purchased for €8 million from Pachuca. In his first season he scored 19 goals, of which 17 came in the league, making his mark above all in the two Champions League playoff matches against BATE Borisov, a win that allowed the team managed by the former Milan player, Van Bommel, to qualify for the group stages where they will face Inter on October 3 in Eindhoven and on December 11 in San Siro.

Lozano is right footed, and at ease especially on the left wing. He is one of the most interesting talents of European football and of course has a target for all the top clubs with Atletico Madrid and Manchester United being the two most interested ‘superpowers’, but also Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona have shown an interest.”

Juventus are also following the player that PSV already estimate between €35 and €40 million, that evaluation will certainly rise if Lozano has a good Champions League campaign. Inter are following him because he is the type of player who fits Spalletti’s demands, and it was no coincidence the tactician required two attackers like Politano and Keita to join the Nerazzurri with both coming on loan with a right of redemption respectively at €20 and €34 million. Inter has identified as previously reported, Federico Chiesa as their dream signing, but Lozano could be an alternative at a cheaper cost the newspaper reports.

Tuttosport underlines further that, Lozano is a non-EU citizen, just like his compatriot Herrera, the Porto captain, whose contract expires on 30th June 2019. The midfielder had been targetet by Ausilio in the summer, but nothing materialized and the player seemed destined to leave Porto for Lyon or the Premier League.

In the end Herrera remained and continues to be Porto’s captain. It is strong possibility that Roma, who have a non-EU slot still free, could attempt to make an assault for him this coming January. Ausilio is working with his entourage to try to block him for July 2019, when however other clubs could come into play, including Tottenham.
