Parma manager Roberto D’Aversa is well aware that his Ducali side are up against it on Saturday when they travel to Milan to take on Inter but he hopes his squad can take inspiration to perform from their performance in the match against Juventus.

“Inter are a team that are capable of competing against Juventus. When we faced Juventus we showed that we can be a match for anyway and I hope the squad faces every match in the league in the same manner,” D’Aversa, who has been at the helm of the Ducali since 2016, said in an interview with Sport Italia.

“It is clear that on Saturday we will be playing against a strong team in Inter and it will be a challenge for us that we will have to prepare ourselves for.”

Since their return to Serie A, Parma have picked up just a single point and based on history, they may need to wait until after Saturday due to the fact they have just one win against Inter in their last 23 trips to San Siro.
