Sampdoria attacker Fabio Quaglarella has insisted that he and teammates are not getting carried away by their good start to the campaign as he looked ahead to next weekend’s tie with Inter.

“Fiorentina and Inter are waiting for us, two games that will take away a lot of physical and mental energy. I already know, we need to be prepared for the difficulties, both on and off the pitch and enjoy the moment but keep our feet on the ground,” he stated in an interview with Il Secolo XIX.

The veteran striker then spoke on the resounding 5-0 victory over Frosinone at the weekend in which he opened the scoring.

“I am happy for the victory against Frosinone that was so beautiful. I am especially happy for Caprari who scored his first goal as a starter and for Barreto, who always gives his all both on the field and in training.”
