Ahead of tomorrow night’s meeting between Inter and Fiorentina, Gazzetta dello Sport have taken a look at at five things that Fiorentina manager Stefano Pioli has done to give La Viola the success they have had this season.

The first thing Pioli done was turn Jordan Veretout in to a regista to fill the void left by Milan Badelj’s exit over the summer transfer window.

Secondly, Pioli turned Gerson in to a mezzala and pushed Federico Chiesa further out on the right in the hope that Chiesa can score between 12-15 goals this season.

Thirdly, Pioli has kept Paulo Sousa’s tactics around but with his own twist using Cristiano Biraghi how Sousa used Marcos Alonso.

Fourthly, the former Inter manager has convinced Nikola Milenkovic of his qualities and turned him in to a goal scoring full back.

Finally, he understood from day one that this Fiorentina team have to play an attacking game.
