Several players are to make their return to Appiano Gentile to begin preparation for the Milan derby this weekend where Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has a few selection doubts according to Corriere dello Sport.

Marcelo Brozovic will be back in training today alongside a few other players who will be returning from international duty. The Croatian midfielder pulled out of his national team commitments through injury and has been working alone recently but will re-join the group today alongside Ivan Perisic, Kwadwo Asamoah and Roberto Gagliardini, who have all been away with their respective nations over the break.

Spalletti is currently unsure who to deploy between Sime Vrsaljko and Danilo D’Ambrosio at right back at San Siro on Sunday night. Moreover, Spalletti must work out who he wishes to partner with Brozovic in the midfield two in front of the defence. Roberto Gagliardini could get the nod due to the fact Brozovic’s typical partner Matias Vecino won’t be back in training at least until Thursday.
