Inter’s young French winger Yann Karamoh gave an exclusive interview to French media outlet Foot365 talking about a wide variety of subjects from his decision to sign for Inter to deciding to go out on loan to Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.

Karamoh was asked about how the transfer from Caen to Inter came about to which he replied: “My decision and choice was made carefully. People think that I made my decision in the last minute, but in fact I was thinking about it for months, the transfer was made much sooner. Many people haven’t followed the situation closely and many media outlets have commented that I moved to Inter way sooner than I should have and Caen also stated this when in fact this wasn’t true. My contract was expiring and I have no regrets and I never will.”

The youngster continued talking about his short stint with the Nerazzurri before returning to Ligue 1 stating that: “I didn’t lose anything at Inter, maybe a bit of confidence. The difficult part from a mental point of view was that I wasn’t playing, but I am young.”

In conclusion Karamoh was asked about the future to which he replied: “It is true that i was close to signing for St. Etienne but some things did not go their way. We will see what I decide to do in the future.”
