During a meeting yesterday between representatives from Inter and Sampdoria, which took place during the youth team match between Inter and Barcelona, Sampdoria players Schiro, Adorante and Andersen were all discussed.

This according to Italian media outlet FcInternews who report that the Nerazzurri want to wrap up Andersen as soon as possible. The Danish centre back has been a target of Piero Ausilio for some time and he’s willing to let the Blucerchiati pick a talent from the Inter academy, in order to be involved in the deal, similarly to the trade of Skriniar and Caprari two Summers ago.

According to FcInterNews, Massimo Ferrero has evaluated Andersen to be worth between €25-30 million, but wants to start a bidding war between Inter, who are currently in pole position, Juventus, Arsenal and Tottenham who have all expressed interest in the player as well.

However, the good relationship between Inter and Sampdoria could be a key factor in the outcome of the operation. The next few months will obviously reveal more, while Ausilio continues to work.
