Inter target Nicolae Stanciu insists he is happy at current club Sparta Prague amidst rumours linking him with a move to Serie A.

Stanciu joined the Czech side from Anderlecht in a €10-million deal back in January and has enjoyed a fabulous start to the 2018-19 season, scoring four goals and providing seven assists in just 14 league appearances.

However despite being linked to both Inter and Milan in recent weeks, the midfielder told reporters after Romania’s 3-0 win over Lithuania on Saturday that he wants to win something with Zdenek Scasny’s side before moving elsewhere.

“I’m happy at Sparta Prague,” he said.

“I’m on good terms with everyone here and I’m the vice-captain of the team. They appreciate me and don’t want to let me go, and that motivates me.

“The fans also like me a lot, so I would be sad to leave the club. I really want to win something with Sparta.”
