Boca Juniors President, Diego Angelici, was interviewed by Ole, and one of the topics that was up for discussion was Inter target Agustin Ezequiel Almendra.

“Almendra has a €30 million release clause and he has recently renewed with the club. As part of our discussions with Inter, they have proposed to keep the player here for the next two years, and that is something we could talk about. We have already told Napoli that we do not want to sell Almendra.”

The President then went on to talk about Nahitan Nandez, another midfielder that Inter have been looking at, and who Cagliari have made an offer for.

“We accept the offer, but not the method of payment. I spoke with the player and he said that he would like to leave. I accept that, but what I do not accept is the form of payment. We have to work on this, but it depends on the Italian club [Cagliari], as they should make an effort. For now, the first installment of the offer would not be enough to pay the tax.”
