Despite reports suggesting Inter have cooled interest in signing Hector Herrera, Corriere dello Sport report that the Nerazzurri are instead to continue to evaluate the Mexican.

The 28-year-old’s deal with Porto is up in the Summer and he looks as good as destined to leave the Portuguese side with alleged interest in his services from many clubs.

His agent Gabriel Moraes is soon due in Italy, where aside from Inter, Roma are also believed to be interested in signing him.

The Rome based newspaper are certain that Inter will make additions to the midfield but they will not rush in to any signings. Instead, they will evaluate every possibility available to them on the market and will not just be looking at players with expiring deals like Herrera.

Herrera is the current captain of the Dragoes who he has spent the past five and a bit years with since a 2013 move from Pachuca.
