Corriere dello Sport have taken a look at the situations of two Inter defenders and the possible return of another former Inter player.

One of the player’s situations they have looked at is Andrea Ranocchia. The centre back, who made just his first appearance of the season in the weekend’s 6-2 Coppa Italia win over Benevento, has just six months left to run on his current contract at San Siro. Inter will soon meet with him to hold talks about what the future holds.

Then there is Alessandro Bastoni, the young centre back who is currently on loan at Parma until the end of the season. The Italian youth international has impressed whilst out on loan and could well benefit from another season of regular playing time to aid him in his development as a player.

The Rome based newspaper then go on to discuss Andrew Gravillon. The Guadelopean defender is a product of Inter’s youth academy but was one of many victims of Inter’s financial situation as he was sold on to aid Inter with meeting financial fair play requirements.

In the Summer, the Nerazzurri will bring him back to the club at a cost of about  €8 million plus bonuses before sending him out on loan.
