Ionut Andrei Radu is gaining attention with his consistently impressive performances and so it’s inevitable that this growth has also caused much more transfer market speculation.

Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports that: “In the Summer, Genoa general manager, Perinetti worked closely with Inter on multiple deals, including that of Radu, in which he joined Genoa on a permanent basis for €8 million. However, Inter made sure to insert buy back clauses for the next two years. After the first year his value becomes €12 million and in the second year it rises to €15 million.”

Ausilio and Marotta strongly believe that the Romanian has much more potential. In fact, even Monchi enquired about the goalkeeper back in June, as he tried to include both Radu and Zaniolo in the deal for Radja Nainggolan. Now that his belief has also been confirmed, speculation indicates that the Spaniard intends to make a second offer this Summer.

Unfortunately for Monchi, Inter are going to pay Radu’s buy back clause, so he can work in the shadow of Samir Handanovic. Roberto Mancini gave him his debut in Serie A at the age of 18 and predicted great things for the Romanian.
