According to a report from FCInterNews.it, Spanish side Sevilla are interested in signing Andrei Radu and had a scout watching him at Genoa’s most recent match.

The Romanian shot-stopper joined Genoa last Summer from Inter and has made 23 appearances across all competitions for the Stadio Luigi Ferraris club this season, in which he has kept five clean sheets.

As part of the deal that sent him to Genoa, Inter retained a buy-back option on the Romanian under 21 international and as per the report, Inter intend to make the most of this option this Summer but that has not deterred Sevilla.

Inter, who have been left very impressed by Radu’s performances this term for the Rossoblu, will activate the €12 million buy-back option and Radu will serve as the back-up goalkeeper to current number one Samir Handanovic with a view to taking over from him in a few years down the line.
