During a press conference Gabriel Barbosa, the Flamengo’s striker who is on loan from Inter, expressed that he is open to the idea of staying at Flamengo on a permanent basis.
“I think it is something we can talk about at the end of the year. A few things have to happen in order for us to be able to make a decision and see what will happen. I am very happy at Flamengo, I feel at home, I see that the fans and the staff have welcomed me in a way which I did not expect.”
“I think there are certain possibilities that can make everyone happy. If I were to stay at Flamengo I would be very happy, but I think there is a lot to do, it is still the beginning of the year. I leave these things to the president of Flamengo and to the leadership of Inter, I am just trying to focus on playing well on the pitch.”
