Antonio Cassano appeared as a guest on Canale 5 show Tiki Taka late last night and shared his thoughts and feelings on the current managerial situation at former club Inter.
“I think Spalletti has done a great job,” he started. “He has achieved the objectives he was asked to. Last year he made it to the Champions League, this year he should repeat that. The project must continue.
“With two or three signings Inter can take a further leap. In my opinion Conte will not go to Inter because Spalletti will stay.”
The former Italian international striker also commented on Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi and their respective futures in Nerazzurri.
“For me at the end of the season it is key that Icardi and Perisic leave the club. Mauro in particular must leave. They don’t want him anymore.
“At Suning’s other club, Ramires has been running around at training for two years and it could be the same for Icardi at Inter.”
