Inter are in talks with Genoa over the future of the club’s young forward Eddie Salcedo, according to FcInterNews.it

Salcedo joined the Nerazzurri last summer on loan with an option to buy for a total of €10 million, scoring 13 goals and providing three assists for the club’s Primavera side during the 2018-19 campaign.

Inter will exercise the buy-out clause to make Salcedo their player permanently, but having done so they could then send the 17-year-old back to Genoa to give him first-team experience in Serie A – either for one or two seasons.

Alternatively, they could include Salcedo as a makeweight in another deal to help them secure a capital gain before 30 June.

Inter and Genoa will continue speaking for the next couple of weeks and should make a final decision before the end of the month.

Salcedo has played 2,127 minutes in all competitions for Armando Madonna’s Primavera team, but Inter have not finished their season yet as they prepare to take part in the Campionato Primavera’s season finals next week.
