Cagliari’s midfielder Nicolo Barella will not accept a move to any club that isn’t Inter this summer, Tuttosport confirmed today.

The 22-year-old has agreed a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri worth €2.5 million per season and is waiting for the clubs to reach an agreement for his transfer.

Tommaso Giulini still values Barella at €50 million and wants Inter to match that asking price between cash, add-ons and other players included in the deal.

“Given both clubs want to get this deal done but especially considering Barella only wants Inter, you would imagine this agreement will be reached fairly soon,” the Turin-based paper assured.

Inter are expected to sell Federico Dimarco to the Rossoblu within the deal as they seek as many capital gains as possible before 30 June.

Alessandro Bastoni could also move on loan to Sardinia with an option to buy and a subsequent counter-option for Inter, although other sources on Friday claimed the defender would not leave the club this summer.
