Gabriel Brazao’s imminent loan move from Inter to Albacete was confirmed by the Spanish club’s sporting director on Tuesday.

The young goalkeeper is expected to join on a season-long loan, with reports elsewhere claiming he would be the club’s first-choice in goal.

Inter signed the Brazilian from Parma last month, having joined the Ducali from Cruzeiro in January, and now want him to gain experience playing in Europe.

“We’re very close to making our fifth signing of the summer,” Mauro Perez told radio program Castilla-La Mancha Deportes.

“He’s a goalkeeper and is from South America. Brazao? Yes, it could indeed be him.

“He’s a young talent who will have a very important value in the transfer market in four or five years’ time.”

Albacete have already signed one youngster from Inter this summer, securing a permanent deal for striker Rey Manaj last week.

Luis Miguel Ramis’ side finished fourth in the Segunda Division last season, losing to Malaga in the play-off semi-finals.
