Inter’s management will hold a key transfer summit with Antonio Conte in Suning’s home city of Nanjing today, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.

Four issues will dominate the discussions as the Nerazzurri assess their next moves in the market: Edin Dzeko, Romelu Lukaku, alternatives to the Belgian and which current players need to be sold.

Conte’s priorities are to sign two strikers, a left wing-back after he rejected Ivan Perisic and another midfielder once sales have been completed.

Radja Nainggolan, Joao Mario and Borja Valero will all need to leave if his last objective is to become possible, however.

Inter’s new boss will remind his employers that he agreed to join on the grounds he could compete to win trophies, and Conte wants his promises to be kept.

Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio, meanwhile, will update Conte on the state of talks for Lukaku and Dzeko, reassuring him the Bosnian will arrive for around €15 million soon.

Zhang Jindong, meanwhile, will reiterate Suning’s commitment to investing in Inter after growing irritated at reports they weren’t willing to spend for the club.

Inter have already plowed €100 million into this summer’s first batch of signings and will aim to increase that figure in the coming weeks.

Lukaku is the most delicate issue which will be discussed, given Inter have very little room for maneouvre with Manchester United at present.

The Nerazzurri cannot meet United’s €83 million asking price unless they sell players first, meaning their current offer of €65 million is the best they can give for now.

Rafael Leao’s name will again be mentioned as a credible alternative, and Inter will look for Conte’s approval on the 20-year-old Lille forward.

Juventus, Napoli and Valencia are all interested in the Portuguese under-21 international, who liked an Instagram post of Matthijs De Ligt’s yesterday.
