Radja Nainggolan tonight warned Inter he would be out to prove them wrong after being sent on loan to Cagliari.

The Ninja enjoyed one final dinner with his Nerazzurri teammates before he flies to Sardinia for a medical this weekend.

Cagliari will sign Nainggolan on a free loan but have reportedly agreed to pay the majority of his €4.5 million annual salary.

“I’ve made a decision. It was a bit of a forced decision but in the end they chose for me,” the midfielder told reporters, referring to how Inter forced him out.

“I’m going to put myself back in the game now and I’ll try to show they were wrong. That’s what I have to do, so let’s try and do well there [with Cagliari].”

Nainggolan scored seven goals during his debut season with Inter but his campaign was plighted by physical and disciplinary problems.

Antonio Conte made it clear the 31-year-old was not part of his plans in Milan, excluding him from every preseason friendly Inter have played so far.

Cagliari will play Inter on the second week of the new Serie A season and it seems Nainggolan will be out for revenge against the Nerazzurri.
