According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter manager Antonio Conte will make several changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Juventus in the last match before the international break for this weekend’s match away to Sassuolo.

Due to the fact he will be one of the last to return from international duty, Diego Godin will drop out of the side and will be replaced by young defender Alessandro Bastoni, who will form the back three alongside Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij.

Antonio Candreva will be back in the starting line-up after Danilo D’Ambrosio broke his toe during the international break whilst Roberto Gagliardini will take the place of Stefano Sensi in the midfield.

Lautaro Martinez will be rested in view of the Champions League match with Borussia Dortmund and replaced by Matteo Politano who will partner Romelu Lukaku in attack.

Probable Inter Starting XI (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Antonio Candreva, Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella, Kwadwo Asamoah; Matteo Politano, Romelu Lukaku.
