Former Inter striker Aldo Serena has admitted that believes the best is still yet to come from Inter striker Romelu Lukaku.

“What is happening to him in Europe shows that he is not yet in top condition and that the best Lukaku, despite all the goals scored in the league, has not yet been seen,” he said in an interview which appeared in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

“He seems a bit tied up, he is not as loose in his movements as he should be. In Italy, on the other hand, he scores goals because he finds fewer difficulties than in the Champions League. Had he been given the ball instead of Lautaro Martinez for the first goal, he would have scored it too.

“He was important in the scoring of the second goal as he made an important move to free up space for Matias Vecino to attack into.”
