Inter are willing to pay Christian Eriksen as much as they are paying manager Antonio Conte to convince him to join the club according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio have been working on the deal to bring Eriksen in for a number of months now and have maintained close contact with the player’s agent throughout this period.

The Nerazzurri are prepared to offer him €10 million a season plus bonuses to join and it now remains to be seen whether Eriksen wishes to leave Tottenham Hotspur immediately or see out his contract and leave at the end of this season.

Despite Marotta and Ausilio’s work, the report goes on to claim that manager Antonio Conte would still prefer for Arturo Vidal to be signed first as Vidal’s characteristics are the ones Conte feels his squad are lacking more.
