Inter are willing to offer €20 million to Tottenham Hotspur for Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of La Repubblica.

Eriksen’s contract with the north London based club is due to expire at the end of this season and Inter are keen to sign him up in January to avoid being caught up in a bidding war for his signature in the Summer.

He is free to sign a pre-contract with any club of his choosing but Inter are hopeful of being able to convince the 27-year-old to join them during this month instead.

This will ultimately be a tall order though given that Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain, Juventus and Manchester United are all also reportedly interested in signing him and could pay him more than Inter could.

This season Eriksen has made 24 appearances across all competitions. In 1386 minutes on the field, he has scored three goals and provided three assists.
