Christian Eriksen has agreed to give up €2 million he is due by Tottenham Hotspur to get his move to Inter over the line according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

The two clubs are on the verge of striking a deal over him and his decision to give up money owed to him will be decisive for the success of the negotiation.

The deal could be finalised on Monday and the 27-year-old will then undergo his medical with Inter, who he has already agreed personal terms with.

As per various reports in the media, Eriksen has agreed to a four and a half year contract with the club and will become one of the club’s highest paid players.

Eriksen, who has been with Spurs since 2013, has made 28 appearances across all competitions to date this season. In 1590 minutes on the field, Eriken has scored three goals and provided three assists for teammates.
