Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa’s move from Inter to Flamengo will be finalised on Monday according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Inter are set to pocket €20 million through the sale of the 23-year-old striker to the Rio de Janeiro based club and will also receive 20% of any deal if Flamengo go on to sell him in the future.

The report goes on to add that Inter will make a capital gain of almost €10 million with the sale of the former Santos striker, who joined the club back in 2016.

Gabigol arrived at the club with a lot of hype surrounding him but failed to live up to expectations. He has however certainly got his career back on track as evidenced by his performances for Flamengo, who he spent last season on loan with.

In 58 appearances across all competitions, Gabigol netted an impressive 43 goals and provided 13 assists for his teammates.
