Inter and Genoa are in discussions regarding the future of Andrea Pinamonti according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

Pinamonti joined Genoa on a season long loan this past Summer and the Rossoblu club have an obligation to buy him at the end of the season. It is also widely understood that there is a gentleman’s agreement in place that will allow Inter to buy Pinamonti back.

The Italian youth international has attracted interest from elsewhere in the past few weeks but due to the above conditions, things are a little complicated.

Parma, Cagliari and SPAL are all understood to have sparked an interest in taking him on loan for the remainder of the season but in order for a loan to happen, Inter and Genoa need to work out a formula that suits everyone.

During his loan spell with Genoa, Pinamonti has made 17 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored four goals and provided three assists.
