The San Siro Committee, which is against the construction of a new stadium for Inter and Milan, has prepared a document showing the issues created by a new stadium, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Libero.

The report details how a document has been prepared with the support of Italian lawyer Veronica Dini to be presented to the City Council. The document highlights issues related to the new stadium, starting with the increase in the urban load and pollutant emissions, which pose a health risk to the residents of the area. The new stadium project would also cancel the plan to create a green space of five hectares.

All the associated committees signatory to this motion have decided to ask the City Council to consider the issues of soil consumption and atmospheric and noise emissions, the report continues. They also ask for more strict rules and directives for urban planning and the protection of green areas.
