Inter are adamant that they will not let Lautaro Martinez depart the club unless his €111 million release clause is met according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The highly rated 22-year-old Argentine national team forward’s release clause is only active for the first two weeks in July meaning any interested clubs will have very little time to get things done.

Barcelona and Manchester City have both strongly been linked with the former Racing Club player and the report insists that Inter will not grant any discounts under any circumstances.

It has been widely reported that Barcelona want to do a player(s) plus cash deal for Lautaro Martinez but this report would suggest Inter will not entertain such a move.

This season Lautaro, who is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists.
